The New Masters 2: Women Artists of Northeast Ohio



EXHIBITION REQUIREMENTS
All pieces included in the exhibition must remain on view in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition and may not be removed for any reason or circumstance until the show closes on Friday, Janauary 29, 2021 at 5 PM.
 
SALES AND COMMISSIONS
All entries must either have a sale price or be marked not for sale (NFS). The Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery will handle all sales transactions and receieve a 20% commission from the price of all artworks sold during the exhibition.
 
Purchasers of artwork may pick up sold works at the Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery after the exhibition ends, between 10 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
 
LIABILITY
The Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery does insure works of art on display. Artists are also encouraged to insure their own works.
 
REPRODUCTION OF IMAGES
Permission is granted to the Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery and Ursuline College to reproduce any artwork for promotional and advertising purposes including but not limited to social media, mailers, website content, and press releases. Any image used will be properly attributed to the the rightful artist. Your entry into the exhibition indicates your agreement with this understanding.
 
DELIVERY AND PICK UP
Artists are responsible for the delivery and pick up of artwork to and from the exhibit. No shipped work will be accepted.
 
Hand deliveries will be accepted between 10 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

If artwork is not delivered on the designated day and time, it will not be included in the exhibition.

Work should be securely and appropriately wrapped or packed for delivery. Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery are not responsible for works that arrive damaged. Any works that arrive damaged will not be included in the exhibition.  
All unsold artwork must be picked up between 10 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
 
Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery and Ursuline College are not responsible for artwork not collected after the exhibition closes and pick up day will become property of Ursuline College.
 
EXHIBIT CALENDAR
Online Entries Open   Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 5 PM. EST.
Deadline for Online Entries – Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:59 PM  EST.
Juror in Session – Thursday, September 24 - Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Email Notifications Sent – Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
Work must arrive at the gallery by – Saturday, October 24, 2020 by 3 PM.
Dates of Exhibition – November 6, 2020  – January 29, 2021.
Virtual Opening Reception date – Friday, November 6, 2020 at 6 PM.
Exhibition closes – Friday, Janauary 29, 2021 at 5 PM.
Work must be picked up on Saturday, Janauary 30, 2021from 10 AM to 3 PM.


 Artworks must arrive ready for installation. All 2D works must be properly matted, backed and under glass or plexi-glass and framed, and wired for installation ( NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS.) Paintings on canvas must be appropriately presented: framed, or painted on the outside edges of “museum wrapped” canvas, ready to hang with screw eyes and wires. Pieces should meet the professional standards of the gallery. The Gallery Director reserve the right to disqualify any work that is different from the submitted image including: artworks that are a different size than stated on the application, artworks that do not show the quality represented by the submitted image, and artworks that arrive damaged. Work not properly presented will not be exhibited.
 
Accepted work must remain in the exhibition and may not be removed for any reason before the close of the show on Friday, January 29, 2020 at 5 PM. By submitting works for this exhibition, you agree to the above terms and conditions of this prospectus.
